Music lovers, if you take note of only one thing that I'm ever going to suggest to you, pay attention to this one.

Last week, one of my friends gave me a link and said, "You're welcome." So before I say anything else, let me give credit where credit is due. Thank you, Reza.

What exactly am I so excited about? (And yes, I basically flipped over it.) It's iConcertCal, a necessary item for every person who enjoys the occasional, or ever so frequent, concert. The basic gist: The program is an application that works directly with your iTunes to put local concerts into a calendar for you.

iConcertCal takes all the artists in your iTunes library and searches for current tours in your area. (It uses your computer's IP address to locate exactly where you are). It then puts all the information on a calendar for you. On the left side of the screen, you'll see a dated list of all the artists that will be making their way through your town, and on the right you'll be able see the visualized calendar.

Once you see something on your calendar that piques your interest, you can scroll over the name to see exactly where the band or artist will be playing at. Click on the name and the venue's website pops up so you can purchase tickets.

If you happen to be traveling to another area within the next few months and get curious to find out what bands will be there when you are, you can just change the city and state up in the top left corner of the program screen to start a new search. They couldn't have made it easier for you.

This personalized concert calendar may be simple in aesthetics, but the program is nothing short of amazing. What makes it even better is the fact that it's free and is available for both Windows and Mac operating systems.

You download the program for free off of http://www.iconcertcal.com. Enjoy!
