     Winning the college fashionista contest has been an amazing experience.  I’ve gotten more than my fair share of congratulations, both from my friends and family and even a ton from people at Auburn University I’ve never even met before (via Facebook messages and oodles and oodles of  e-mails).

     Soon after I won the “fashion title,” I was interviewed by the author of sports-fashion blog, “A Grand Slam.”  The interview included questions about the contest, my personal style, and fashion guidelines that Auburn students follow.  Even though I have been interviewed multiple times in my life, for some reason the questions I was presented with kind of threw me.  After being labeled “top college fashionista,” I began to feel nervous that my style suggestions weren’t trendy or cool enough.  Luckily, I woke up and realized that my looks earned me the title for a reason, and I began to suggest tips that I use myself, like wearing a white sundress to game day and sprucing it up with accessories that are your school’s colors!

      While all of this has been an incredible experience, the part I’m most excited about is the launch of my new blog.  Every week, I’ll be putting in my two-cents about the hottest new trends on campus and where you can find them on Football Fanatics.  So grab your credit card and get ready -- with the right tips and tricks under your belt, you might just be next year’s college fashionista!
