You probably know how it feels. When you see that boy, your heart starts to race. Your palms sweat. You get so excited you feel like you could run ten miles.

Those feelings, called “love” by most, have been deemed troublesome by researchers at Imperial College in the U.K. New studies claim that the changes that occur in your body when you are in love can be seriously detrimental to your health. The emotional ups and downs that being in love creates cause sudden changes in the human body. All that adrenaline running through your bod whenever you get close to your sweetie could be bad for you!

But, as with most things, there are two sides to every story. The study also showed that life without love causes problems, too. Widowed men actually showed an increased risk of heart problems after the death of their loved one.

Personally, even if I am causing damage to my body, I would much rather live a short life full of love than a long one without. What do you think?
