There’s nothing like getting into a warm cozy bed after a long hectic day. You might nestle your way into your favorite position until you fall asleep, or maybe you’re one of those women that like to fluff your pillows until the feathers start busting out getting ready for your slumber.
Whichever your pleasure, your bed is hopefully the place where you get most of your beauty sleep and dream most of your dreams.

It’s nice.

But do you keep it nice? Remember when mom used to say, “Don’t let the bed bugs bite”? What if I told you that there’s a possibility that you’re sleeping with the bed bugs every night? Human beings shed dead skin cells on a daily basis and dust mites--better known as dust mites--feed off of them. This causes your bed to become infested with millions of dust mites. Dust mites can also get inside of your lungs causing asthmatic problems.

To prevent this, it is best that you wash your sheets about every four days. If you would like more information check out “The Secret Life of Germs” by Philip M. Tierno, Jr., Ph.D. for more information on other places where getting dirty is not pretty.

Wow when I went to college I was told by a friend that we're supposed to wash our sheets every 2 weeks. Now I hear it's every 4 days?! Wow.
