The Single Girl’s Guide to Surviving Valentine’s Day

"Here are a few tips to avoid adopting a gallon of Cherry Garcia as this year’s valentine."

Get Inspired: Take a Good Picture

I’ve come to find that my friends on Facebook can be broken into two categories: those who take good pictures, and those who don’t. Every Sunday afternoon, about fifteen new albums are posted on Facebook, and I have learned by now, that some are worth looking at and some will be random body parts, cut-off faces, and various containers of alcohol.

Pictures are really important.

Get Inspired: Jodi Picoult – Genius Novelist

I cannot stand books that are all fluff. You know, the type that revolves around a girl who has this impossibly amazing job and is struggling between her boyfriend and the new exciting man she meets while working. OMG of the Day: Accused of Rape…on Facebook

Imagine walking around campus having multitudes of people stare at you like you just ran over a childhood pet. That's what Morgan Shaw-Fox from Lewis & Clark College had to endure. In short, a girl at his school accused him of raping her, and several female students made a Facebook group online slandering his name.

Standing Out in a Crowd: One Person’s Experience as a Minority on Campus

On a campus that is overwhelmingly Caucasian, being a minority, specifically one of a moderate handful of Asian students, is especially evident when you look at the lack of diversity in my major, sorority and fraternity life, and who’s dating whom. In fact, I’m actually an even smaller minority within the Asian community on campus,
