Hey there high school seniors! Are you stressing out about finding the right school and filling out all of your college application forms on time? Don’t even sweat it! These days college applications are as easy as Facebook…a little more high tech than you might be used to, but definitely not hard as it was when our parents had to do it back in the day.
Sometimes its difficult to know where to start when applying to schools, but don’t worry, with the convenience of the world wide web, applying to colleges is much easier than it used to be. All you need to do is check out www.collegeboard.com. This go-to website has everything you need from background info to deadlines and actually filling out your applications!
The most important part of college apps is deciding where to apply. College Board simplifies the process by giving you all of the information you need on your top choices. Their website helps you obtain everything you want and need to know about top universities around the country without having to take a real campus tour. This includes but is not limited to: the 411 on housing, greek life, sports teams, expenses, and where its located. It even tells you what their admissions requirements are and where you stand according to your grades and test scores. Not sure where you want to apply yet? College Board also offers a search for students who are undecided on schools, but are interested in finding a match based on their likes and interests.
The next step is narrowing down your choices and keeping track of deadlines! There is nothing worse than not being able to follow your dreams of wearing your favorite college colors because you missed the application due date. Conveniently, College Board will keep track of the schools you are applying to, and will map out all of their deadlines for you. All you have to do is login to your account once you finish your daily email and Facebook routine. They even give you access to the applications from your computer, and help you write the dreaded college essays. With College Board, you no longer have to freak out about the college application process – you’ll be there before you know it!
