They’re high, they’re leopard and they make me feel oh so sexy! My leopard-print mohair Jessica Simpson peep toes are being featured on UniversityChic because of a new feature we have now called “What’s in Your Closet.” This new part of the site will allow you to take a picture of that perfect pair of jeans you got on sale, the cute new flats you bought or the shirt you thought you had to show the world. We want to know what’s in your closet, so make sure to include pictures

For the introductory column of “What’s in your Closet,” I chose my Jessica Simpsons because there’s an interesting story behind them. I’m completely obsessed with peep toes first of all, and I spent $200 last fall on what I considered the perfect peep. When I realized that I just couldn’t afford them on the college student salary and had to do the return walk of shame, I still searched for the perfect peep within budget. The Jessica Simpsons were a little under $100, but I still wasn’t sure. Did I love them that much?

In order to get the hot safari peeps I wanted, I went and bought a knockoff. I thought I could still look divalicious in them, but when I put them on I looked more like trailer park trash in a throwback 80s film. After all, I did get the look for the low price of $21. So, less than an hour later, I sucked it up and bought the real Jessica Simpson peep toes. For that reason, I want to show the world just how fabulous they are.
