March is here and as we prepare for warm and fresh days of spring sometimes we feel the need to jazz it up a bit. Experimenting with new hairstyles or trends is the best way to feel new and inspired. And as promised last week here are some top fashion/beauty sites to visit for 2008.
Makeupbag.net. This is the site I go to when I'm looking for the latest beauty products out or doing research.l Set up like a blog Makeupbag.net is fun and passionate about beauty trends and filling you in on some of the hottest new items. Any beauty queens out there definitely need to add this page to their favorites list.
iVillage.com. iVillage is a carnival of stories for women. From relationship advice, health tips, hair tricks to your favorite celebrity's style secrets, iVillage has it. Fashion obsessed chicsters can have fun going through sections like My Virtual Model, the Fashionator, Fashion Trends and more. Curious about what's so great in 2008? Definitely read their Spring Fashion 2008 section.
Glimpse.com. I stumbled on this site during a random search – basically you type in the name of a brand of product you want and it tells you the nearest store near your town where you can find it. If you're seeking a beauty product, perfume, purses, shoes, or a piece of jewelery Glimpse.com can tell you where to find your item whether it's at Zales, Target, Neiman Marcus or Macy's.
About.com. About.com is a multipurpose website that has thousands of topics including fashion. It's not just stuffy articles about diets and health tips About.com has information just about anything in the world including beauty and fashion. It features several links to fashion related tips and even has a fun "Daily Don't" of the fashion world. About.com's fashion pages also show style related videos such as Dress For Your Skin Tone and how to Accessorize a Black Dress.
Of course nothing beats physically seeing your inspired styles at your favorite store in the pages of your favorite magazines. Also nothing makes you feel inspired like starting off with new items! Coach is my favorite designer brand and although it is fairly affordable compared to other brands, Vera Bradley's Collection features fun and cute patterns for purses, wallets, and luggage for an inspirational spring.
